Does anyone else here like to read food blogs, with recipes, step-by-steps, food-photography etc.? I've got a few that I enjoy. :) Some of the ones which seem to me to be consistently pretty good are the blog tie-in for The Pioneer Woman, a Canadian foodie going by Closet Cooking, a mom's hybrid food-blog and personal/family blog Not Without Salt, and a historical food blog replicating ancient Roman recipes called Pass the Garum, although that one seems to be moving to a new site now. (?)

(Trying to remember if there are any content notes here... recipes may occasionally include alchoholic components? I'm not clear on whether Faith Freaks has a links policy or requires content disclaimers on links, so please enlighten me if I guessed wrong.)

If any of you guys have favorites, I'd love to read them. :)

My wife recently died and was the great cook in my family. All I can write is that you cook it and I will happily rejoice and eat a home cooked meal. ;)

All I eat are microwaved food. That is my idea of home cooking. My wife used to kick me out of the kitchen. I was a terrible cook.

I guess I do a little of both, honestly. Sometimes I'll heat up something frozen if I'm tired or in a hurry, but I really like playing with making flavors happen, even if I'm still learning how. Both my parents like to cook, so I probably came by it honestly. "Helped out" in the kitchen a lot growing up.
